Sweater Series: Third Installment

Writing this series is reminding me of the 8X8 days. Back in 2009 I had challenged myself to lose 8 pounds in 8 weeks and blog about it each day for those 8 weeks. Today the thought of losing 8 pounds feels like an upward slope. But the discipline of blogging daily is something that seems exciting to me again. Just sitting down and writing whatever-the-heck came to my mind. Stuff of the bygone era.

Now getting back to this sweater. It is a special one. My Mom had knitted this back in 2012-2013. I absolutely love the color combination, the knit pattern (?) and the slouchy fit. It is one of a kind. It is just like how I like it. It is a 10 on 10 for me. Definitely one of the most cherished wardrobe pieces, that I would continue wearing for years and years to come.

  1. Wow, how neat! I'd love to learn how to knit sweaters! I've tried my hand at a scarf here and there, but I've never gotten around to trying a sweater. Your mom did so well!
