It has been a hot minute since I covered the Three Ways series on the blog. Mostly due to the fact that I have not been shooting my outfits as much as I used to back in the day. It has been a conscious decision to live in the moment and be more intentional (at least as much as possible) about the time spend on social media as well as during creating content for social media.
On days when I am lacking inspiration or time, I use the archived posts to style my outfit and on other days I archive my looks so that use them when need be. It is a vicious circle which has been extremely useful for me. It also provides me a chance to show case how one doesn't need to have a million pieces in their closet. Instead can choose to be content with what they have and create looks with the same items.
My trick to style this skirt for work so far has been to play with its colors without making a 'style statement'. I have a good number of blue, white and black in my closet and just by playing around with different pieces, I get a lot of wear out of this skirt.
How else do you think I can style it in future?

Three great looks here, I do love the second look with the cami and cardigan. It gives the skirt a more stylish and professional look for sure.
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing different ways to style the same piece, and I do feel like we've gotten away from that in the blogging community, it's always about the next new thing, and I'm just as guilty. I would love to see more posts like this.
