- Bangor
- Portland
- Bar Harbor
Three highlights from out trip were:
Portland Head Light & Fort Williams Park
Located in Cape Elizabeth, perched on the headland above the rocky shores of Fort Williams Park, Portland Head Light was completed in 1791 to guide a safe passage through the main shipping channel into Portland Harbor.Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens
Located on the Boothbay Peninsula close to Portland and Augusta, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is a 270-acre lush green oasis with diverse plant families stretching along a mile of waterfront.Acadia National Park
It has jaw-dropping views of the Atlantic from Cadillac Mountain, winding carriage roads, and serene forests. Situated on the coast of Maine, the majority of the park’s 47,000 acres sprawls on Mount Desert Island, though portions of the park are on the Schoodic Peninsula and Isle au Haut.
While we had planned the trip in June, we were prepared with layers because you never know in the North-East. And as we had expected the weather changed from an hour to the other and having some light layers on was helpful. On that note, below are the three outfits from the trip.
Day One
Denim Jacket | Jeans | Shirt | Shoes
Day Two
Tee | Jumpsuit | Shoes | Sunglasses
Day Three

You're making me miss Maine. My parents and I used to travel up to the Northeast as often as we could when I was a child, but we haven't been above Maryland in YEARS. I need to take my husband in the autumn so we can enjoy the mountains in full color! It sounds like you had a really nice trip!

You have been to 29 states? Wow! I think I have been to about 9. Though drove through many more as a kid driving to and from NY and Florida. And love your looks, perfect for casual day sight seeing and still being fashion forward.
