Last year around the same time I had said, "Do what makes sense to you in that moment and brings you joy. Rules and routines are meant to assist us live but not become our whole life." in one of my posts here. And a year later I am going back to that same thought. I am changing my routine. I am starting fresh and doing what makes sense to me and brings me joy.
Speaking to joy ... this blazer is giving m so much life right now. Unfortunately, this piece is sold out but I have linked something similar below. This was one of few of my winter purchases and I am absolutely obsessed with it's color and fit. And since it is quite frigid outside, the outfit called for layers on layers on layers. Any thoughts on the end result?

This outfit is so chic, like seriously. I love it! You are such an inspiration! <3
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this! We should all do what makes sense to us instead of what we think the world around us wants us to do.
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling! Sometimes things just get too much and I take a step back and do what I feel right.
ReplyDeleteI do love the color of the blazer, it does make you stand out in the gray of winter. I think a social media break is good, there are so other fun things that we can do instead of just looking at what others are doing, on Facebook or Instagram.
ReplyDeleteGirl I can totally understand!!! This happens to me every so often too. Sometimes its hard to get out of the "routine" of posting, and only post when we feel inspired!

Love the bag with the jacket with the stripes. I'm incapable of mixing and matching prints, but so envious of those who can!
ReplyDeleteSometimes we need to take a step back. A break is a good way to spark creativity again. Love your look here...the blazer is so bright and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteA bright pink blazer sounds like just what you need to get through the winter months!
ReplyDeleteIt can be hard when we find ourselves on a path and we aren't sure if it's right, only that we must not stop moving forward. I hope when you step back you can find the right way to move forward.

ReplyDeleteGosh I think that is life. Sometimes there are seasons where every step you take makes sense. Other times it makes sense to let things go. Good on you for figuring out what steps you need to take to make you happy!
