Random-o-sity: 10 Random Things On My Mind
1. Being honest is the most liberating state to be in ... sometimes it take a little bit of extra effort as I am not confrontational by nature. But once you learn break through that discomfort, there is no better feeling.
2. Sometimes I wish Hindi / Indian Movies stayed niche and no one had discovered them. Damn you Netflix!
3. It has been a year since Flo & I had started working on our podcast (Movie Wala Podcast) and 36 episodes later, the enthusiasm has not dampened at all. In fact it is one of my favorite projects I work on right now.
4. Still dying over this view from my window yesterday morning.
5. I had a goal of reading 52 books this year. I have already read 93 so far. Now my new goal is to read 100 by the end of this year. Do you think I will achieve it?
6. “Making a decision was only the beginning of things. When someone makes a decision, he is really diving into a strong current that will carry him to places he had never dreamed of when he first made the decision.”- Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
7. Talking of decisions, I decided to make videos again but this time on IGTV. It just seems much easier to record and upload than to edit and all-that-jazz required with YouTube. If you haven't here are the four I have uploaded so far:
- How I Plan My Travels
- Travel + Everyday Make Up Products I Use
- How I Take Care Of My Overall Health
- How Do I Stay Focused & Disciplined
8. Over the years I have noticed a lot of women expecting fellow women to support them - in their projects, causes, work, hobbies, what-have-you ... but what majority of them forget is that before you ask for support, you must SHOW support. Else you just come across as an opportunist-selfish-b*tch. Just saying!
9. Now that we are in November, I just want to year to quickly fly by and we reach 2019. I am not that great about any kind of left-overs. I like with get done with things. Alas! you can't really fast-word time though.
10. Remember my His & Her's Fashion Diaries? Yeh, it has been a while. Somewhere down the line I lost the motivation to nag my husband to let me take his pictures. Haha! But guess what, he agreed to make an appearance after all these years. Keep scrolling.
