If I lost my memory and went through my own recent content on the blog or Instagram I would conclude this is the feed of a foodie. If you do follow me on Instagram you know what I mean. Something is extremely wrong with me. I have never a foodie. I always ate because that what you are supposed to do to stay alive. I purely consumed food so that my body can function. However, this year either it is hormonal imbalance or my inner foodie is just coming alive, all I can think of is food.
Don't get me wrong, I have always liked my sweets and spicy food. But it was never something I obsessed about. Now though, I plan my life around food. I plan my weekend around brunch. I plan my day around all the meals I will be having.
What a wrong decade of life for the inner foodie to come alive. Thirties, when you body is unforgiving and the calories just stick to you like bees to honey. I hope this is a passing phase else I am in for a lot of burpees.
Anyhoo, this post is featuring transitional fall style. It is cool enough for light layers, but still warm to wear a jacket. The rainy weather can be deceiving from the window, because as soon as you step out it could either be windy or humid. Hence, I knotted a solid colored lightweight full-sleeve top over a striped sleeveless dress and paired it with floral ankle boots. And for the third styling piece, I brought out my favorite statement earrings (last seen here) - Voila!
The pictures have been taken at Jaleo, Bethesda. I have reviewed the restaurant on the blog before (click here) and this time I was back to try their Spanish Toast. Gosh! was it delicious or was it delicious. (A post on my favorite places to try French Toasts is coming soon. Stay tuned!)
Location - Jaleo, Bethesda, Maryland
Dress - Missoni (Thrifted) // Anther Option
Top - Nordstrom Rack // Another
Boots - TJ Maxx // Better
Earrings - Sassanova Boutique // Love these
Bag - Lo & Sons // Similar
I love the funky combat boots! And girl, I can so relate. My husband and I plan our LIVES around food ;)

Love your skirt! Vintage Missoni is the best. I have a vintage Missoni skirt and it's one of my favorite pieces of all-time. Your skirt is absolutely beautiful! Ugh, I love food too, hence, lots of burpees.
