Bartaco's concept is about street tacos. The tacos here are ordered a la carte. Any flavor of taco can also be turned into a rice bowl. The tacos are small, about two or three bites, which is great because you can try many different flavors in one sitting. There is a wide selection of sides including guacamole, spicy cucumber, bean salad, and plantains. Now as a vegetarian, my favorite taco is the Falafel taco and the close second is the cauliflower taco. I only wish they had more vegetarian options or at least offer something new every now and then. My husband tried the fish and pork belly tacos and had only good things to say about the both.
Now if the tacos and plantains were not a reason enough to go back, they also have the best key lime pie ever which is served in the cutest mason jar ever. Give it a try!
What actually continues to bring me back to Bartaco is their impeccable service! I really wish I lived closer or they opened a location in Maryland.
