I am not in the mood for writing a post today, so excuse me while I do the most boring and mundane thing and talk about my outfit and call it a day ... this is my third and last outfit from the New York visit (First / Second). Thankfully we had a couple of sunny days and I could wear my mustard jumpsuit (previous seen here) layered with a tee. This was our last day in the city and we wanted to go and explore Brooklyn. Hence, the comfy outfit
... which got me browsing through my archives to see if that is how I always dress during my NYC trips and barring this and this, all my other outfits (click here) I have ever worn in New York City, have been always about comfortable clothing and flat shoes. The city requires so much walking that I cannot even imagine wearing heels for longer than a few hours. P.S. I do think flats are quite underrated in high fashion!

Love the color of your jumpsuit. The layering you pulled off perfectly. Plus looks really comfortable.
ReplyDeleteAh, how you make me miss NY and Brooklyn with these pictures. And I couldn't agree more - I think agree that flats are underrated in high fashion. You can pull together an awesome look with cook sneaks or flats!
ReplyDeleteLOL Tanvi, I'm so glad you have those days too. Don't you sometimes wish that someone would create an app that just takes all the words and thoughts inside your head and writes them down so you don't have to overthink what you want to write? Okay wait, that might be dangerous :D Anyways onto your outfit, good for you. I haven't worn heals in years. I'd probably break my neck if I tried, so flats totally work for me and I know my daughter would totally flip her lid if she saw this jumpsuit. She's gone into a yellow phase recently, which is better than the pink one, but man it's difficult to find pretty yellow cloths ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat app could be a boon and a curse both. But would be so useful for writers and bloggers :D
DeleteHaha ... yes. There are not that many cute yellow clothes. May be something for the brands to consider, if they are reading.
I so agree with you! Who can wear heels for hours and how are their feet not crying in pain? I am a fan of flat shoes as well, especially because I walk a lot when I travel. Usually trainers are my friends :)
ReplyDeleteThis look is so "New York"! I love that yellow jumpsuit. You look so trendy and cute!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great combo! And very much NY. Not sure I could pull off the yellow, but you do it very well.
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable. I love blue and yellow together. Even when I decorate my house, it's one of my go-to color combos.

Never read a blogger admit to their audience they were giving them "the most boring and mundane thing". So honest. Too honest. If you don't even like what you're putting out, why would readers? 😳
ReplyDeleteYou make an excellent point. i have realized while I find it boring to talk about clothes, there are people who don't find it boring to read about it. I am always trying to be transparent about my thoughts. Haha - I do like my outfit though :)
DeleteI love the outfit! Super cute and comfy.
ReplyDeleteSo fierce! I've never thought about wearing a T-shirt under a jumper, so clever and I love it. I'm totally obsessed with mustard right now too, just bought the cutest flats.

ReplyDeleteI never thought that a jumpsuit and tee would look so good! I am in love with your jumpsuit!
