One of the things I regret is, not living in downtown DC. One doesn't have the luxury of rolling out of bed and heading to a eatery or restaurant for Sunday brunch without accounting for traffic and parking. That's why when I noticed a number of new restaurants open up at Pike & Rose earlier this year, I couldn't be happier.
One of their restaurant we often visit is the Summer House. It has become one of my personal favorites for breakfast/brunch on the weekend. The vibe is cool and laid back. The service is personal and swift, (without being rushed). And most importantly the food is delicious.

Husband and I, like to go to the Summer House on Sundays when we wake up late and have a ravenous appetite. We catch up, have a hearty breakfast/brunch, relax and head back home with our bellies full.
If you live around the Bethesda/Rockville area, you must check out this place. You would not be disappointmented.
Amazing photographs <3
ReplyDeleteSunday brunches are such a wonderful idea and with food this tempting, I'm sure you got another reason to look forward to Sundays.
I've heard so much about the Pike and Rose dev. Must go soon! Cucumber cooler sounds sooo refreshing!
ReplyDeleteAll the noms. I had a waffle in Sacramento the other day that was totally amazing! I don't eat them often anymore, so you can imagine that it made this one even more delicious.
