I will try and keep it light on the writing this week. (I know. I know. Past few posts have been quite heavy duty even for me!) I hope everyone had a good weekend. I know I did :)
The title says it is not an Outfit Post, 'coz I am not posting these pictures so much for the clothes as you can see they are quite "plain-jane" (as quoted by my husband). I am posting these for the night photography. You might have noticed that we have become quite obsessed with it lately. Pictures really look so different (I wanna say romantic, but not sure if that is what I mean) without sunlight.
These were taken on the last day of our trip to Maryland.

Night photography has its own charm.. I especially like it like this.. near a lake or sea or a river..!
ReplyDeleteDef loving the night pics. I was at National Harbour about a month ago & the sunset pics turned out amazing!
ReplyDeletedon't know much about photography but the pics do look nice
ReplyDeleteNight is a world lit by itself. :)
ReplyDeleteNight photography is difficult to master. I have yet to master it.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the image with you & husband in night light. Have a nice Sunday;-)
I love the night pics! They do have a 'romantic' feel to them.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I love the idea of night photography, but I absolutely stink at taking the photos. It's an art that I haven't mastered :(
Difficult to get great pics at night. You are doing really well.

I really like night shots.. Something so diffused/non-sharp about them which gives them that romantic air you talk about :)
ReplyDeleteNice casual look and great pics! :)
The pictures came out great! I never know how to take night time outdoor shots. I need to practice.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I know it's not an outfit post, but I love the top!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful moody shots, you'vecaptured the light and the reflection on the water beautifully.
ReplyDeleteNow, as much as I like your husband I'm very cross with him for calling your clothes here "plain Jane". Nothing you could ever put one could look less than fabulous. x

ReplyDeleteI love night time photography (though I've yet to master it with my camera)! Your photos are beautiful!!

ReplyDeleteOnly one word describes night photography for me-INTENSE!Even the most casual shot with no thought put behind seems to have a deeper meaning. And this is what being married to an exceptionally well dressed fashionista deos to people.I bet your husband'll find my wardrobe DISGUSTING if this is 'plain jane' to him.I love the look though because it's so me!Casual,neat,clutter-free and smart.

I agree that night photography is at it's best by the water-- or in a city. There's something really romantic about the way lights twinkle in the background!
