New Date ... New Week ... New Month ... (Bonus: Blog Makeover) Let's start over, shall we? ... leaving behind the blues and the worries ...
I have a philosophy -> No two days are alike. You cannot always be happy (or sad). You cannot have everything. You cannot do it all in one day. But in the end if you are happy for 300 days in the year then you are doing alright! 'coz everyone deserves to have a few off days in the year. What is important is to keep moving ... keep trying. Things happen only when I make them happen. That sounded like a few philosophies mixed together to make one, right? Well, who cares ... It is my philosophy, it works and I'm sticking to it! :)
Now, over to the outfit. There are two wonders in this outfit:
1) The bag is at least 20 years old. I found it my Mom's closet earlier this year. She had kept it in the 'never to be used' pile! Needless to say I grabbed it in a heartbeat. No explanations given!
2) I do not have a pencil skirt. I do not have the money to go buy one either. But I wanted to wear one, no matter what! I am stubborn like that. So what did I do? I wore my tube dress as a skirt. It is snug fitting, anyways!
Needless to say, I am quite content with the wonder I created! ;)
Top - ASOS [10']; Skirt (previously worn as a dress) - ASOS [10']; Shoes - Dolce Vita [10']
Necklace - Gift [Mother In Law 10']; Bag - Bally [Mom's Circa 1990]

My fave look so far. Yellow makes you SHINE (in a fab way, of course)! :)
ReplyDeleteiLOVE this look I love yellow. Got myself yellow shoes ystday! and I like the idea of wearing a dress underneath as a skirt... I'm also liking the philosophy making a mental note to remind myself of this when I am down and out! :)
ReplyDeletei agree with your philosophy, no two days can be same. If we are gonna be happy always, how we will understand what happiness is? Is sad day only which tells the importance of Happiness.
ReplyDeleteyou look gorgeous in the pics and yellow top is stealing the show.
I also love the neck set, purse and shoes.. and yes i did not realize that you are wearing a dress as skirt(until i read).
