This wasn't hard at all. It got over even before I realized and I had a lot more fun than the previous time too [when I did do 30 for 30].
The believe the trick lies in picking the pieces. It is not that hard if you are willing to break all the rules and not follow any trends or are not stubborn enough to stick to what is chic and stylish according to the 'fashion police'!
Here's the remedy to keep the challenge interesting (and easy!) in my experience,
a) Pick a few pieces that you haven't worn in sometime
b) Pick a few pieces that you recently purchased
c) Match them with a few pair of versatile shoes
That's it! In the end you feel good about yourself 'coz hey! you are using stuff you didn't for a longggg time. You are also excited to dress everyday 'coz hey! you are going to be wearing stuff you recently purchased. So the final result is - complete gratification. Though I think 30 days was a bit too long for my sanity, but 10 to 15 is something I can definitely manage every few months. 30 for 30 ... 10 for 10 ... What's going on? Click here to find out.

Lately I've been fixated on the socks with heels look and I've noticed some women pull it off better than others. You do it beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI think you carry it off better because you have a fun insouciance in your style, as seen by your choice of bright colors and bold designs. The look is a clever one and it suits someone as creative as you are with your clothing.

love all the dresses!..awesome..looks like indian ..weather has done some good tanning!
ReplyDeletemustard yellow is definitely your colour. Looks like you handled 30 for 30 like a pro. Great tips too!
ReplyDeleteAh, I've seen a ton of bloggers doing the 30 for 30, but I feel like I'd get too frustrated. Nor do I think it'd be a challenge since I wear the same pieces all the time!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Ill try the 10 for 10... also, I'm experiencing major envy of your yellow bag. Soooo perfect.
xox
You know Tanvii, I love this concept. 30 for 30 can get so limiting for me, because I already have a tiny wardrobe but this way you made it more fun and less like a chore which I think 30 for 30 can become.
ReplyDeleteLove it girl!!!
Love
Tashrin
I love the last one esp the one on the right. You pose like a model.
ReplyDelete30/30 sounds interesting. The only thing that pulls me back is - 30 days is too long and getting pic taken everyday is a huge commitment.
the tunic actually kept reminding me of you! I thought about going to your blog for inspiration! lol
ReplyDeletemy choice of 8/10,9/10 n 10/10 matches perfectly with urs...
ReplyDeletei would actually give all these styles a 10 on 10...

Loved your 8th look the most!
ReplyDeleteAll the yellow looks so Spring-y and cheerful!

I like!! I have to add in something apart from more praises for the outfits...is that I really like the format and layout of your blog...It's simple and easy to read. And the way you present the photographs, especially in this case with the days, makes it really easy to follow and understand how each day unfolds in Fashion.
ReplyDeleteLike the playful, chic and classic hairstyles.
