Last time when I had posted about Blogger's meet, someone was curious to know about what exactly did we talk about. So since you asked, we discussed why we started blogging and how; which ones are our favorite blogs and which ones we visit frequently, etc. etc. One of the most interesting views we both shared was that while many famous bloggers are entertaining, however where they lose "our" interest is when their fashion sense and pictures look more like magazine editorials than everyday styles. If "we" [Rukman & myself] saw them on the street dressed like that we would find them more like 'freaks' than 'fashionistas' and that's just our honest opinion.
All in all it was a great evening ... of course when two bloggers have same point of views and agree on most things the, meeting becomes even more fun [;)].
My pictures courtesy Rukman!

I agree. That's why I like reading your blog. I want reality not fantasy! Then I would buy a fashion magazine.
ReplyDeletehow awesome! it's a pity we missed meeting Rukman the other day! :)
ReplyDeleteI'll say this AGAIN come to Bombay :)
ReplyDeleteDo I still have a chance to meet you??
ReplyDeleteXX
I agree with Sonu and Jasleen, come to Mumbai!! :)
ReplyDeleteu really seemed to have had a fab time.. with Rukman.. and we missed meeting her.. probably we should have another bloggers meet.. this time with Rukman.. :)
ReplyDeleteOYE! you made it to big chill... i m sooo jealous... i m such a craving gripping me now...:)
ReplyDeleteyou guys look fabulous!
Oh God, Sally and I were having pretty much the same conversation the other day! We sooo agree, if anyone wanted highy stylised and borderline pretentious pictures, magazines have done that and do that better than any blogger no matter how popular! I would also call them freaks and even point and laugh at them but I doubt that woulod ever happen because I am more than certain none of them actually leave the house looking like that!!!!
ReplyDeleteOoooh that jacket is yummy and I love the pairing of it with the mustard skirt :)
How beautiful you both look and I'm glad you had fun. Although we start out by reading all the popular blogs, I think we bloggers tend to gravitate towards like-minded people (much as in real life)hence we always get on so well.
ReplyDeleteDespite what they say you can judge a book by it's cover. xxx
Love a good meet up - you both look gorgeous and it's good to see one of my fave jackets of yours make another outing!

I love meeting other bloggers. It is a lot of fun, and Rukman sounds really amazing.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about how famous bloggers lose our interest when they start becoming more like actual models, rather than normal people.
You are having a great time, aren't you :) That skirt is neat.

I sooooo envy her!! Wish I could be there clicking pix with you! Sigh!!
ReplyDeleteAnd ya......fashion that is blogged about should be of an everyday flavour......& nothing exotic or avant-garde.......we like watching each other whip up beautiful outfits from the regular stuff that we all posses.......& that's where all the fun lies!!! :)
bloggers meet sounds like so much fun!

ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to do a blogger meetup! Unfortunately, there are next to no bloggers in my area. Sad:( I love your blazer- the stripes are so, so cute! And that skirt is lovely too:)
ReplyDeleteLucky to meet up with so many bloggers. There are quite a few in India now, or so I've read in the mags.
ReplyDeleteNice that you have so much in common! True that some sites seem more like they are trying to become the next "thing" styling their shoots up, but I still admire the effort and passion behind it. And of course I love you and your style chica!
ReplyDeleteLooks like so much fun! <3
