It is all about the details in life, isn't it? How you say something, how you interpret something, how you present something, or how you wear something - it is the small things that can make all the difference. Growing up I mistakenly thought these 'details' were my OCDs. But now I realize they were (are) what made me, 'me'. Whether it is the the food I make, or the space I habitat or what I chose to share as an influencer, I am always focused on the 'purpose' behind it. It has always been about the message and my personal expression. Those are the details that matter to me.

I am constantly sharing content from archives, which also pushes me to revisit and analyze my past work. Some of it makes me cringe, but some of it also makes me smile. The constant has always been my unapologetic voice. That is the 'detail' that matters to me the most.
Moving on to the outfit ... Guess what's the theme here? Details! :D As someone who believes less is more, but still likes to make a statement with her dressing, I have realized that the best way to do so, is by paying attention to details. Accessories, colors, and layering are few ways to enhance a basic outfit. Today's look is a mish-mash of pieces from mine and Tania's closet. I love the bright colors and the the use of natural light in these pictures. Tania is a master at captures the 'details'. Her framing of the shot and focus is something that always catches my attention. It was another creatively enriching and satisfying experience to work with her on this shoot.

ReplyDeleteAhhhh Tanvi, I love those vibrant, beautiful colors on you. You look gorgeous and that bead work at the bottom of the skirt is simply stunning. I think it was Giorgio Armani that said "To create something exceptional, your mindset must be relentlessly focused on the smallest detail" and it's so true.
ReplyDeleteThat's true, details are very important ... they can change the look and make a simple outfit look extraordinary. :)

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful details you've included! I always forget details when I am dressing, no beautiful accessories, opps. I think you are right, details are important and I think they are when encourage us to grow as individuals. I also look back at my work while I am working months ahead of my current post and cringe!
