10 Random Things on My Mind

    1. Last two months have been absolutely blissful. This year I wanted to get back to basics. And I got back to basics. I am focusing on fewer projects and being myself no-matter-what.

    2. While I have been posting sporadically on Instagram, it is heartening to receive positive feedback about my content. Less is more. And I am glad my audience notices the change in my perspective.

    3. I have successfully completely 5 weeks of no-refined-sugar. It has been hard but I have been proactive and diligent.

    4. I have created an Amazon store where you can check out what books I have been reading and all my favorite and frequent purchases such as protein powder, sugar-less bars. etc. <click here>

    5. I had mentioned last month about the new Movie Wala Podcast - It has been receiving such great feedback. There are six episodes up, do check them out if you are a Hindi Movies buff. Also if you have already heard it, do consider leaving feedback on iTunes. It helps people with similar interests find it. Thank you in advance!

    6. In an absolutely insignificant news yesterday, I tweeted this and 10 people unfollowed me. Ha!

    7. Do you guys watch Homeland? It happen to my favorite show on TV this season. Everything they show is so current. So relevant. Makes me doubt all the news I watch.

    8. Took my first trip of this year to Chicago last week. It was perfect and productive. On my flight back I took this shot. Do read the story behind it in the caption.

    9. "Destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved." — William Jennings Bryan

    10. Last but not the least, I have read 22 books so far. Safe to say I will make it to my goal of 52 books this year in no time. Feel free to leave me any recommendations, that you might have.

    3. 10 people unfollowed you on Twitter because of that? But it was a totally true statement. I did watch the previous season of The Bachelorette because it was the first time they EVER had someone of color in the lead position. But after her season I stopped watching it again, and of course, I don't miss it.

    23. I love this post - especially the pictures, I adore Istanbul, although I've not been for years! Do you know I watched the first episode of Homeland, but I didn't really find myself hooked - it's one of these ones I've always said I'll go back to but never quite managed to! You've made me want to now though!
