My heart has been filled with gratitude for a while now. One of the recent reasons is this book. But even before I read that book, I had been thinking about how exceptionally calm and at peace I feel with my life lately.
I spend all of my energy in pursuing my passions and conquering my shortcomings. I am not hassled by anyone's opinion of me. I do not spend a single moment lending unasked for advice. It does not concern me what anyone is doing in their professional or personal life. I mind my own business, in the real sense of that phrase.
I believe in setting good intentions out there and following them up with constructive actions, without any expectations. I know that was a mouthful, but it is my truth. I am thankful for everything I have. And everything I don't have. I have come to a realization that things come to me when I am ready for them, and if they never do, then they were never right for me in the first place. I am thankful for the peace of mind, a content heart, and a stable life. I am also thankful for books and movies for that's what lifts me*, when I am down! (*See last picture for reference)

ReplyDeleteMe too. I am at peace with my life and I think that comes with age and gaining a strong sensemble of self. When you begin to not worry about other people's opinions and you live your life the way you want, you find true happiness.
