Please note that I am not advocating this lifestyle for everyone. I needed to kick start a healthy lifestyle and this worked for me. However, if you have dietary restrictions or healthy issues, I would suggest you talk to a doctor before trying this.
I have already shared my meals, but below are some natural foods that I have tried and incorporated in my diet in order to detox and cleanse the liver:
- Vegetables such as leafy greens, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, are good options which help activate enzymes necessary in the process of eliminating toxins
- Healthy Fats in walnuts and avocados help the production of glutathione – an essential compound that your body produces in order to get rid of the toxins
- Turmeric (spice) also helps to get rid of toxins, when consumed either in foods or by taking capsules that contain it
My goal for 2016 is to change your lifestyle to something which is healthy but also attainable. After a month of following this new regime I feel positive that this is something which I can sustain for a foreseeable future.
