Saree With A Twist

12:00 AM

You know, I don't like messing around with my Saree. I like them the way they have always been worn. So far, I haven't experimented in drapes other than the traditional ones. However, when I saw this video (scroll down to the bottom) I was compelled to give it a shot, and I have to say I love it. I draped it a tad bit differently from the way it was shown in the video, but the basic concept of it remained the same. Do let me know if you happen to give it a shot too.

  6. Looks very nice Tanvi. Saree is such a versatile garment and it's always fun to get a little creative with the drape. Also, I love the earthy feel of the saree. The patterns almost remind me of Madhubani art.

    1. Thanks Purushu! This is my Mom's and Ia m guessing it's old. About the drape, I am not very experimental with that, but this was within my comfort-meets-experiment-zone :D
