I had written a post about Bangles and their significance in Indian culture last year. Today for Blogger's Do It Better the theme is 'Arm Party' so I thought it would be a good time to revisit that post for all my new readers. If you are interested you can check that post out here

  6. love all your arm parties! That yellow bangle that says "Love" is my favorite! Some years ago Accessorize sold stes of bangles (not a coincidence since they make most their jewelry in India) and I had bought 3 sets of them! I liked them a lot but grew out of them eventually (they were a bit noisy too :P). Last year a friend of mine brought me bangles from Pakistan, but theis quality wasn't that good...the color chipped off and the sparkle thei had on them started falling of...everywhere I sat, I left a mark!!!

  16. Bangles be the best!!! Such a great way to pep up an outfit. Lately I've gone a little mad and bought oodles of glass bangles..my maid thinks I am getting married for some reason!!! :)Love all your bangles and how you mix them up and create such great stacks.

  52. Love me some Indian bangles so much I bought some at an Indian shop a while back. I bought them in green without knowing that it was for luck.
